SEE ALSO: Actor Park Min-jae passes away from sudden cardiac arrest
Cube Entertainment stated in a press release on the 5th, "We are letting you know that we will take strong legal action against those responsible for fabricating and spreading composite photos and false rumors involving HyunA which have been spreading on mobile messengers and SNS. We have submitted documents we have prepared that include the original photos used to make these composite photos and the process used to create them to the police, and have requested for strict punishment, and the investigation is set to be underway. We will not condone those responsible for fabricating and spreading malicious composite photos and rumors concerning our artists. Thank you."
It's said the perpetrator(s) edited the nude upper half of a woman's body onto a photo of HyunA wearing a t-shirt, and the composite photo has been spreading through KakaoTalk messages, Twitter, and more.
This isn't the first time the agency had to step up to warn legal action to protect HyunA as malicious rumors had also spread during Trouble Maker's latest promotions.
