With the recent news of Sun leaving for missionary work in Haiti for five years with her husband, JYP Entertainment had to step up to assure fans that this did not mean she was leaving Wonder Girls once and for all.

JYP Entertainment said on March 18, "The content Sun personally uploaded onto the home page is all true; she will be spending the next five years in Haiti with her husband for volunteer work. �However,�Sun's leaving for Haiti does not mean she is leaving Wonder Girls. �It's true she plans on spending five years in Haiti, but she might return to Korea for a certain period of time." �

Does this mean that if she did momentarily visit Korea while volunteering at Haiti, she will be resuming Wonder Girls activities during that time?

JYP concluded, "It is definitely untrue that Sun will be leaving Wonder Girls due to Haiti."
