During an interview with MyDaily held in a cafe in Shinsadong, Seoul on the 5th, Minwoo opened up about his fellow member Andy, who is currently on hiatus as he takes time to self-reflect after his gambling scandal.
Minwoo shared, "We are slowly preparing for our Shinhwa concert. To be honest, because of Andy's situation, we felt like we were avoiding celebrating our 16th anniversary, so we thought that we must definitely [hold the concert]."
"We are not doing the concert as five members excluding Andy, but doing this while thinking of Andy. You will be able to see it at the concert... We will also greet fans with a new Shinhwa album in the latter-half of this year. Of course, Andy will join us then."
"Andy was once unable to promote with us due to his school issue during our 'Hey, Come On!' promotions. Shinhwa is six members so it felt like one was missing then. This is the same situation now. Honestly, the biggest concern at the moment is how to fill in for Andy's part and the spot that Andy leaves empty."
So until Shinhwa's return as full six members, give Minwoo your support as he's just recently returned as M with his 10th anniversary album 'M+TEN'!
