Leeteuk's sister Park In Young talked about losing her family.
She had an interview with YSTAR's 'Live Star News' where she talked about the passing of her father and her grandparents. In the interview, she said, "I become sad even when I'm not doing anything, and start tearing up even when I'm reading. Both my grandparents had Alzheimer's, so my father must have had a hard time. But I just thought about my work and thought I should grow as an actress, and I wasn't able to help out very much."

She added, "I really miss my father, grandmother, and grandfather, who all left before me. Maybe it's because we went through a hardship together, but I feel like I became closer to Leeteuk. I'm so proud of him. He's like an older brother that I can lean on."
She added, "I feel reassured because he told me, 'I only saw you having a hard time, but I'm happy that you're starting to have activities again'. My father told me to succeed. I'm going to do my best in every role so I can be accepted as an actress."
