B1A4's Jinyoung is making his big screen debut in the movie 'Miss Granny', which premieres today in Korea. To excite and amuse fans, a surprise still-cut from the film was revealed! In the picture, Jinyoung looks virtually unrecognizable due to the transformation he made for the production.
He plays the role of Ji Ha, the leader of the Ban Ji Ha Band (Half-Basement Band) who wants to become a singer despite his mom's (Hwang Jung Min) disapproval. In the revealed picture, Jinyoung completely transformed into a rock artist with his wig, heavy make-up, and outfit complete with accessories.
Jinyoung revealed his thoughts, "I dressed up with the Ban Ji Ha Band members and even went to the Hongdae playground; all the fans and passersby were shocked and avoided us. Even on set, I remember the staff members were laughing and clapping their hands. I did think it was a little scary, but I hope the scene will come out funny and make the audience laugh."
