As mentioned before, this man, Mr. Song, was revealed to be a former fan of the trot singer, but not the fanclub president despite his claims. Mr. Song filed with the police accusing the singer of lying and treating her mother badly, and even said the singer had locked up her mother's friend and beat them. He stated that he used to be on the singer's side, but later turned against her to side with her mother, who has been on a rampage releasing hateful letters and claims against her daughter and her son-in-law.
According Jang Yoon Jung's agency, the Yongin Dongbu Police Station have completed their investigation into Mr. Song's complaints and have now cleared Jang Yoon Jung of the accusations. Her agency told Star Today, "We were notified of the investigation results which conclude that Jang Yoon Jung is cleared of suspicion by the police reps."
Another rep told Sports Seoul on the 20th, "In a way, it is an obvious decision but there is the fact that things blew out of proportion. It's a relief that it has been settled well."
It's said the police found the accusations to be baseless and false while investigating Mr. Song as well as the singer's mother.
They will be turning over their findings to the prosecution for Jang Yoon Jung's own lawsuit against Mr. Song for defamation.
For those who are just tuning in, this matter came about after the singer's pre-interview with 'Healing Camp' was somehow leaked a while back. The interview contained the singer's confession about the hard times she's been having as her 10 years worth of earnings and savings had been squandered by her mother and brother and left her almost 1 million USD in debt. After this reached the media, her mother and brother claimed that it was not true and said they didn't borrow that much money, and that Jang Yoon Jung was a disloyal daughter who tried to force her mother into receiving mental treatment. Her mother also claimed that Jang Yoon Jung's agency also owed her money and revealed her intention to file a suit against her own daughter and the CEO for money, citing defamation. Although matters seemed to be quieting down, the former fan Mr. Song, joined in with the mother to file a complaint against the singer with the police. Her mother also started to send letters cursing her daughter and her son-in-law with the news of their pregnancy.
