F.T Island's Hongki suffers an injury + Jonghun expresses his disappointment in injury-related malicious comments

It appears that F.T Island's Hongki is unfortunately enduring quite a bit of physical pain lately. Last week, he endured some abdominal pain that got treated in the hospital, but more recently, he suffered bodily injuries!

His agency told TV Daily on December 16, "After he finished filming TV Chosun's 'Bride of the Century,' he suffered injuries on his way back home." It was revealed that after he finished filming, he went to eat with the staff members. On his way home, he slipped on ice, dislocating his shoulder and fracturing his face, both of which would take 6 weeks to heal completely.

In relation to this, TV Chosun's side said, "We will suspend filming for Lee Hong Ki's parts . . . Overall, we will be pursuing the normal filming schedule," assuring everyone that the drama was likely to still air in February. In addition, the FNC Entertainment family concert, originally set for December 28 and 29, was postponed to next year.

Although most fans would be concerned about Hongki's current condition, there were a few netizens who posted malicious comments, saying the injuries were all an excuse so he could evade military service.

Unable to stand these malicious comments, F.T Island's Jonghun vented his frustration through Twitter on December 16: "This is too much...You guys are going too far. How can you say those things when a person got hurt? You have gone too far."

He finished the message with kind words toward their fans. He wrote, "As the year is ending, I feel sorry and ashamed towards all of our fans. I will show you a good side as quickly as possible, asking for a quick and full recovery as well as prayers."
