The second round of Mnet's 'WIN' had three different battles for Team A and Team B to compete in. Last week, it was announced that Team B beat Team A in the singing portion with respective scores of 260 and 254.
This week, the two teams had their dance battle and original composition battle. Unfortunately for Team A, they lost again to Team B in the dance battle--but as usual, not by much! Team A got a total score of 271 while Team B got a score of 274, the latter winning by merely three points. Talk about close!

However, Team A finally got their chance to shine in the original composition battle. Kang Seung Yoon composed the song "Smile Again," winning the battle for his team. Ultimately, calculating the total score for all three battles in the second round, Team A won this round with 792 points.
Despite having won two out of three of this round's battles, Team B lost the second round with their overall total score of 788. Judges Lee Hyun Do, Yoon Jong Shin, and J.Y. Park had given them relatively low scores of 83, 89, and 82 respectively, saying their song lacked personality. Team B's Bobby and B.I had composed their original song "Winnin."
On the other hand, Yang Hyun Suk told Team A, "I didn't think Kang Seung Yoon's original composition would be this good to the point that I want to promote it." Team A garnered scores of 92, 90, and 85 from Lee Hyun Do, Yoon Jong Shin, and J.Y. Park respectively.
Team A's Mino said, "After five seconds, something bubbled up inside me. I thought I was going to die from holding back tears."
Team A's leader and composer Kang Seung Yoon said, "I'm grateful to my members for diligently accompanying me. I had thought we kept lagging behind Team B, but I'm happy now that I think we can really compete on equal terms."
Team B's B.I said, "We should have gone up after a lot of practice, but we did not manage to have fun on stage. Using this opportune time, we will win the last round."
