One media outlet had reported that after Son Ye Jin and Kim Nam Gil's KBS 2TV drama 'Shark' ended in July, the two of them naturally started to date and had been in a relationship for the last four months.  The two actors are currently filming together once again for new movie 'Pirates.'

However, both parties denied this dating rumor.  On October 29, a rep from Son Ye Jin's agency revealed it was true that they were extremely close, but insisted they were not in a romantic relationship: "They are close to the point they fool around calling each other 'sweetheart' on the set of their drama and movie, but they are definitely not dating."

The rep revealed, "They are even close enough that they made a promise to date each other if the viewer rating for drama 'Shark' went over 20%."

In addition, Kim Nam Gil attended the VIP preview of Son Ye Jin's movie 'Blood and Ties' and loudly encouraged her, saying, "Son Ye Jin is the best!"

In relation to that, the rep explained, "They are close to the point that strangers who saw them could get the wrong idea.  However, if they were really dating, they probably could not hang out like that without some constraints."
