Overseas even on a national holiday!
On the very same day Chuseok begins, INFINITE will be starting their world tour 'One Great Step' in Japan. It turns out that these boys will be celebrating a special Chuseok with their fans in Yokohama Arena until the 20th. However, INFINITE members Sunggyu and Sungyeol will be gracing the television screen during Chuseok as their appearance in KBS 2TV's 'The Sea I Wanted' and 'Laws of the Jungle' respectively will be broadcast in the next few days.
Girls' Generation will be leaving the country to promote their new Japanese single 'Galaxy Supernova.' Even though they are not active in Korea, Girls' Generation has such a rampant global influence that the girls will be kept busy.
Not surprisingly, Big Bang will not be enjoying Chuseok, either, as they will be busy overseas. Big Bang is facing a schedule so packed for the remainder of the year that the boys will have no free time even during Chuseok. For example, on the 20th, Big Bang is expected to perform at the F1 grand prix in Singapore.
While Rainbow will be doing a fan signing in Japan, B.A.P will be leaving the country to promote their upcoming Japanese debut. It appears the boys will be practicing to prepare for their album release and arena tour in October.
Big Star left for Malaysia to take part in the upcoming 'Inspiring Korea Festival.' A Pink and Jewelry will be leaving Korea on the 21st to participate in the Korea Japan festival the next day.
After School's Jooyeon and Nana will be in Japan to participate in a fashion show while fellow labelmate Hello Venus will be flying to New York for the festival celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean-American alliance.
Out of the 2PM members, only Nichkhun appears to be abroad to film his Chinese drama 'One and a Half Summers.'
Idols busy, busy, busy in Korea
Hitting stardom with 'Bar Bar Bar,' girl group Crayon Pop will be busy with their schedule in Korea--too busy to see their families. However, the girls said they're happy that their families will be able to see them on television.
After School's UEE will be busy filming for SBS's 'Barefoot Friends' while Sunmi will be busy with SBS's 'Inkigayo.'
With family on Chuseok!
SM Entertainment's singers, excluding Girls' Generation, will be spending the holiday with their families. TVXQ, Super Junior, EXO, and f(x) were all given breaks.
Likewise, YG Entertainment gave all their singers, excluding Big Bang, breaks. 2NE1, Akdong Musician, Epik High, and more were allowed time to spend with their families.
Excluding Sunmi and 2PM's Nichkhun, most of JYP Entertainment's singers are enjoying time off. As a matter of fact, miss A's Suzy mentioned visiting Gwangju.
Cube Entertainment takes the cake as every single member will get to enjoy the holiday--oh wait, BTOB will have to sacrifice a bit of their time to promote 'Thriller' on the weekend music shows.
ZE:A has taken a break from their schedules to spend time with their families. In addition, KARA, who is currently promoting 'Damaged Lady,' was able to enjoy some leisure time. Lastly, Son Dam Bi, NU'EST, and Kim Ye Rim (Lim Kim) were also able to take a break from activities.
