'You're the Best Lee Soon Shin' has been enjoying a lot of love from viewers, to the point that they've been receiving a flood of requests for more episodes to be added to the original 50.
KBS 2TV responded, "The drama 'You're the Best Lee Soon Shin' will end at 50 episodes, as planned," revealing their decision of not extending the show. The IU-starring drama started airing in March, and will end on August 25th at episode 50.
KBS added, "Please look forward to the conflict between IU's character and her birth mother, as well how the mystery behind IU's father's death will unravel. We have the schedule planned out to the last filming date, so the actors and the staff are all working hard in the heat."
