During an interview with the magazine, Junsu's mother shared her love for Junsu's fans: "When I look at the fans who come up to me and call me, 'Mother~,' they're adorable. They're like daughters, and there are many that I want to take in as a my daughter-in-law. Whenever I hear stories of those who received fortune in their work and those who recovered from depression because of Junsu, I am happy and thankful. I hope that his fans also live happy and healthy lives."

Junsu's mother also gave an inside look into Junsu's upbringing and shared, "Junsu was always a child that stood out among the rest whenever he sang and ran. When my children were in elementary school, I was going through a financially difficult time. We once all lived in a room without a bathroom. I felt so sorry for my children that I spilled tears one day. Junsu wiped my tears and told me, 'We will grow up and become renowned people. Once that happens, I will build a picture-perfect house.' Junsu signed the lease for this house before leaving TVXQ, and he was going through a difficult situation at the time and felt sad that he couldn't fulfill the promise right away. But after he took part in musicals and worked hard, he really made this house our own. You don't know how much we prayed and cried after coming to this house."
