2AM's Seulong brought laughter on set as well as to the viewers as he reflected on his successful duet, "Nagging", with IU.
On the 18th's episode of 'Happy Together 3', he confessed that despite the joy that the song brought him with its success, he felt quite burdened about performing it on music programs. He said, "When I sang 'Nagging' with IU, I really wanted to run away," surprising the MCs and the guests as they couldn't imagine why he wouldn't want to perform it often..
But Seulong soon brought laughter as he explained, "Because IU's vocal range is high, we were only going to record the song and would have no broadcast activities. But the song became incredibly popular outside our expectations and became the 1st place nominee on music programs. I had no choice but to appear on broadcasts, " revealing that he had agreed to the duet only because he thought he wouldn't have to keep singing the song, which calls for high range of vocals.
He continued, "There's a part in the lyrics that say, 'Let's stop, let's stop', and I would really pour my feelings into those lyrics. I really wanted to stop," cracking the set up into laughter.
It seems like this specific portion of the song that Seulong mentions comes right after the highest part of the song, which you can check out below [starts around the 2:55 mark]!
