It's been reported that actor Ahn Jae Wook had received surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage while visiting the U.S.
It has been belatedly revealed that on February 3rd, Ahn Jae Wook experienced great pain while eating dinner at the residence of his agency's CEO in Las Vegas and was immediately transported to the hospital and received surgery.
Ahn Jae Wook's agency revealed, "On the 3rd, he experienced symptoms of indigestion and vomited, and afterwards he suddenly felt an extreme migraine so they immediately called an ambulance and went to the hospital. After a CT scan and an MRI, they heard that they needed to go to a big hospital, and after transferring to another hospital, he was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage."
After his diagnosis, Ahn Jae Wook immediately received a 5 hour long surgery on the morning of February 4th and is currently resting in the intensive care unit. Fortunately, the surgery went well and he has no problems communicating and moving.
The agency stated, "Since he received a big surgery, we need to wait about 3 to 4 weeks and the hospital has requested for his absolute rest. Ahn Jae Wook wanted to tell his fans who must have been surprised by the news to not worry too much and to wait for the next time they can meet again in good health."
Ahn Jae Wook had upcoming performances for the musical 'Prince Rudolph', but schedule changes seem unavoidable.
We wish the actor a full and speedy recovery.
