R.ef's Lee Sung Wook had previously been accused of assault on the 7th after getting into a dispute with his ex-wife in the car.

He and his ex-wife were both booked without detention on the 7th and questioned about the alleged assault. They were both said to have gotten physical with his wife sustaining injuries to her chin. However, Lee Sung Wook denied the accusations stating,�"While we were taking care of personal business, my ex-wife got a little too rowdy because she was drunk, and the situation blew up to be bigger than it was. We did not hit each other or curse at each other" and apologized to his fans for causing them to worry.

Although the two did not reveal what they got into a dispute about, it was reported a day later "Lee Sung Wook got married secretly on October 7th, while he was accused of assault, to a flight attendant that works at a foreign airline." Neither R.ef's label nor member Sung Dae Hyun had heard about it.�R.ef's label said, "We are in the process of confirming what happened from Lee Sung Wook himself. Once we confirm details, we will be making an official statement."

Lee Sung Wook and his ex-wife were both due at the police station for further questioning on the 9th, but the ex-wife is said to have not shown up. The police revealed on the matter, "It seems his ex-wife is having a difficult time with the news of Lee Sung Wook getting remarried."
