Rookie vocal trio, Phantom, is set to release their first mini album, 'Phantom City' on August 16th.
Phantom is not your typical boy band, as the group explores an eclectic array of music genres as well as backgrounds. Phantom's Kiggen (33) was born in Japan and previously worked as a composer. Member Sanchez (26) spent his school years in New Zealand, while the group's maknae Hanhae (22) is from Busan.
During an interview held recently, the members of Phantom stated, "Even when looking at ourselves, we think we are a unique group. If we were to describe ourselves with one phrase, we would call ourselves a 'discordant harmony'," showing the special bond they have both musically and as a group.
Hanhae further revealed their differences stating, "Our hometowns, ages, and musical preferences are all different. Our blood types are different as well. But if you combine us all together, we end up fitting well with each other, which is amazing."
The members also mentioned former boy bandSeo Taiji & Boys as the group they look up to.
Phantom has already pre-released the track, "Seaweed Soup", from their debut album, and has fans awaiting the release of their title track, "Burning", along with the full album on the 16th.
