With new member Woohee in tow, Dal Shabet has finally made their comeback with their first album showcase at the CGV M Cube on June 5 KST.
The girls kicked off the showcase with the full reveal of their music video for their title track, "Mr. Bang Bang". Before getting up on stage as a group, Woohee introduced herself with a solo stage covering Beyonce's "Freakum Dress".
Woohee stated, "Personally, this is a big opportunity for me. When I first heard that I'd be joining the group, I couldn't think of anything. The members were all so helpful while I prepared so adjusting wasn't that difficult. I was worried about dorming together, but our personalities match one another very well. I think all that's left is pulling off a successful comeback stage."
Jiyul added, "Before, we had hit a moment of fatigue within the group, but with Woohee's addition, it became an opportunity to band together and work even harder. I feel like it's a new beginning."
Serri, who is now the new leader in place of Viki, stated, "I'm now beginning to realize what a difficult position Viki was in. As the leader, you're always under the pressure of having to take care of your dongsengs, so there's a lot of responsibility. Now that Dal Shabet isn't a rookie group anymore, this is a pivotal promotional cycle for us. We're going to show a more finalized version of our group since we're no longer rookies."
Ahyoung expressed, "I saw that we ranked last on a girl group ranking chart, and I personally think that it was an honor for us to even be included amidst all of the seniors at all."
On their first album, Serri commented, "This album is like a combination gift set. It features the best producers like E-Tribe and Nassun."
Viki, along with labelmates 4Men and Mi, also attended the showcase to show their support.
Dal Shabet will be making their comeback on Mnet's 'M! Countdown' on June 7.
