Hip-hop duo Baechigi is garnering the anticipation of fans with their impending comeback.
Baechigi will be releasing a mini-album titled 'Two Mari' ("mari" is the term used for counting animals) on April 12th, after a 3-year hiatus. In order to garner interest, they revealed a video teaser on various online sites for the new album on April 6th.
Prior to revealing the video teaser, Baechigi member Tak tweeted to his followers, "You will be able to meet through a teaser all the emotions and thoughts that have been circling in Baechigi's heads for the past 3 years. We worked really hard, and gave it our best efforts to prepare for this. Please cheer us on."
The teaser video for Baechigi's comeback is drawing attention for its unique advertisement-type intro, titled 'Your Life's BGM - Baechigi.' The video shows a confident Baechigi through dynamic images, lively music, and lyrics that meet fans' high expectations for Baechigi.
Netizens who saw the teaser welcomed the duo's comeback and left comments of encouragement, such as, "Even the teaser is so like Baechigi", "A ray of light in an otherwise dull daily life", "My life's vitamin", and "I want to hurry up and hear the full song."
Baechigi will be performing on KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 13th, after the release of their comeback album.
