Child actress Jin Ji Hee has recently fallen victim to a netizen impersonating the actress.
On March 31st, the actress wrote on her Twitter, "Hello, everyone. The news articles of me writing a Me2day post are not real. Somebody was impersonating me. The only SNS accounts I have are Twitter, Cyworld, and the one for my Daum Fan Cafe. I don't have accounts for Daum Kids and Me2day, so please don't misunderstand."
Her Twitter post was referring to somebody who had impersonated the actress by creating a new Me2day account under her name.
On March 29th, the impersonator wrote on Me2day and uploaded the photo below, "Hello, I'm Jin Ji Hee. I can't believe it's already Spring. I had a great time during my birthday party and my school entrance ceremony. Thank you all for wishing me a happy birthday and I hope you all had a great week."
The uploaded photo shows the child actress in a school uniform taking a quick picture with her friend. As soon as the post was made, news reporters began publishing articles, thinking it was the real Jin Ji Hee.
Jin Ji Hee isn't the only celebrity to have fallen victim to impersonation. Fake SNS accounts were found for IU, B2ST's Yang Yoseob, Lee Min Ho, Kim Yoon Jin, Shin Min Ah, Kim So Eun, and even 'K-Pop Star' finalist Park Ji Min.
