Veteran group Shinhwa who will be making their long-awaited comeback in March have adapted a rookie mentality for their comeback preparations.
According to their label Shinhwa Company, the members are making sure to be in tip top shape for their comeback.
They have all agreed to stop drinking until after the comeback, and work out every day at a scheduled time. The members agreed that they would each pay a fine if any of them were to take a drink or fail to appear for their work out routine.
These men have also been holding dance rehearsals twice a week since December, and likewise, they agreed on paying a fine if they were to miss a rehearsal as well.
In order to focus more on their group comeback, the members have also agreed to put their solo activities on hold. Members like Eric and Andy have either turned down lucrative drama roles or pushed back recordings until May.
Member Jun Jin who was recently discharged from the military will also postpone his solo album recording until after Shinhwa makes their comeback.
They are putting more effort into this album than ever before, not only because it is a monumental album together, but they have a sense of pride for who they are as a group and as a brand.
"None of us expected any of us to be this serious, but all the members are really focused and determined preparing for this comeback," they said.
Their manager who has been with Shinhwa since their debut remarked, "I don't think they've ever been so sincere preparing for a new album. Even the look in their eyes when they practice is completely different."
Shinhwa will be releasing their 10th album in the middle of March, and will be holding a comeback concert at the Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park on March 24th & 25th.
