[Spoiler: Girl K] Han Groo's drama, 'Girl K', receives praise for authenticity

CGV's 3-part TV drama 'Girl K' is receiving a strong following thanks to its gritty action scenes and Han Groo's acting. The first episode of 'Girl K' hit the airwaves on September 3rd, and fans were blown away by Han Groo's dramatic transformation into 'Cha Yeon Jin', a young killer with a heavy vendetta. Though she utilized different weapons and martial arts moves, viewers were particularly impressed by her blade-fight scene due to its ruthlessness and slick sequencing. But action scenes can only carry a work so far -- Han Groo's strong acting lies at the core of everyone's praise, especially after it was revealed that she had only a minimal amount of acting experience. Prior to this, Han Groo was known as a rookie idol who had some cute songs, but unfortunately didn't rank very high on the charts.
