A recent story about the filming of SBS's 'Running Man' has come into the spotlight, but unfortunately, there's no laughs attached this time. On June 8th, a certain online community posted a shocking story on their bulletin with the title, "When you shoot 'Running Man' please give us a warning." The story read,
"'Running Man' was being filmed while I was on my way to school. They were shoving students who were just passing by, even swearing at them. Why do you swear when you didn't give [us] prior notice [about the filming]? Try to understand where we're coming from... Surely you don't think that you have the power to treat us like that just because you're holding a camera? Why did the 'Running Man' staff member swear at my friend...We were not trying to interfere with the filming; we were simply trying to pass by...Why do we have to listen to the 'Running Man' staff members curse at us with such profanity that we haven't even heard from our parents? Did the 'Running Man' filming team reserve the place?"Although this incident has been labeled as 'nuisance filming', it was reportedly not the first time that the filming of the show inconvenienced citizens. In response to this event, netizens commented, "The producers need to avoid these kinds of disputes", "Being an inconvenience to others...isn't that too much?", and "There are a lot of running shots in 'Running Man', but why don't you try avoiding crowded places.." Although the student never clarified what episode or location she was referring to, it's probable that this incident happened at Seoul's Ewha Women's University, where KARA's Goo Hara and Noh Sa Yeon recently made a guest appearance at.
