Singer Psy, who is currently having a successful run in his promotions for his new album' PSY5' with the title track 'Right Now', is continuing his usual image of not appearing on variety show programs, and has already rejected offers to appear on KBS 2TV 'Seung Seung Jang Gu', SBS 'Strong Heart', and MBC 'Knee-drop Guru'.
During a recent interview with the singer, when asked why he desires to maintain his image this way, Psy smoothly replied,
"Ever since I made my comeback, I have received a huge amount of offers for variety show MC and radio DJ positions. "In my own judgement, I think the general public thinks of my charms as erratic, or irregular. I believe doing things in a regular fashion does not suit me or my image. But in saying that, I never planned to become erratic intentionally."He continued,
"I think me being able to perform with Kim Jang Hoon hyung or with 2PM without any awkwardness is because I never created a sense of regularity in my image."Psy also dished on his surprise transformation as an actor in the movie 'Wet Dreams' back in 2002. "I want to do good in just one movie. I have been receiving a lot of offers ever since 'Wet Dreams'. After I have done my all in the entertainment industry and I have been acknowledged, I'd like to stand at the summit and watch over my history. However, I'm not at the top yet, and there are still a lot of things I want to try in the music industry, so I have no further thoughts on acting just yet." Source + Photo: Joy News
