Actress Hwang Jung Eum recently revealed her honest thoughts about dieting. On the August 31st episode of MBC's Every1's 'Hwang Jung Eum's Ultra Fashion', the actress confessed, "I don't worry about gaining weight at all." Hwang Jung Eum is currently displaying a rounder figure in the SBS drama 'Giant'. When asked whether she has any plans to diet, she answered, "No plans on dieting, but moreover, i'm gaining more weight to have a more glamorous body". She continued, "As the drama is set in the 70s, the slightly rounder image suits the setting more, and also the rounder image gets covered better (with clothes)." In addition, Hwang Jung Eum's diary was also revealed.  A picture of a glamorous pin-up girl was drawn in her diary, and she confessed it was the type of body she desired and that she feels happy whenever she looks at the picture. Due to her busy schedule, Hwang Jung Eum relieves her stress by eating between meals, and she believes it is helping her gain more weight. The producer stated that it was good seeing Hwang Jung Eum gaining confidence from gaining weight, in contrast to other celebrities, who tend to stress over dieting.
