Jung Woo Sung and Cha Seung Won for IRIS sequel, Athena!

Yes, the wait is over. Part of the cast of IRIS 2, the sequel for the hit drama IRIS, has been revealed. Though it's been referred to as IRIS 2, the real name is Athena: Goddess of War, Athena for short. Top actors Jung Woo Sung and Cha Seung Won has both officially been cast for the drama. On March 3rd, Taewon Entertainment, the drama's production company, sent out a press release announcing that Jung Woo Sung and Cha Seung Won will star as the main characters for the IRIS spinoff. They are using the Greek goddess Athena's name for a terrorist group in the drama. The two actors will play enemies of each other. Taewon Entertainment says they are ready to capture more viewers with an amazing storyline and hot action scenes. Jung Woo Sung has mostly only done movies so it'll be nice to see him on the small screen. He will play Lee Jung Woo and supposedly will surpass Lee Byung Hun's character's charisma. The terrorist group Athena's leader will be played by Cha Seung Won. He will play Son Hyuk who always finishes any type of mission. He is cold and is obviously the bad guy of the show. The drama will start filming in Italy and Switzerland in June. They will also film in Singapore, New Zealand and more countries, six in total. Do they have enough money for this? They are shooting to air the show in the latter half of the year. Get ready for a blockbuster and I wonder who the female lead is!
