Brand New Day recently released their new music video for their single "Soulmates." From my first impression of the music video, it seems like they're trying to appeal to the Korean audience with their sex appeal amazing talent cuteness... like I haven't heard THAT before. All joking aside, they do have powerful voices. The style of their music reminds me of the old school K-pop girl bands such as S.E.S and Fink.L. The music video has a lot of old school reminders as well: You can see an old radio/boombox thing as well as postcards (...lol), Polaroids, and 12 inch records. As for the music video itself, it wasn't bad. Of course, it wasn't any Abracadabra, but in all fairness, the concept wasn't exactly the same. In the beginning the guy starts out with the whole "nice guy" approach. "You know I have nothing right? But I do have one thing. The will to love you. We're soulmates!" Awww..... but during the second half of the music video he turns into E.via's oppa...playa playaaa. His arm is around each of the girls at least once, even stealing a kiss from one of them.
