Just face the fact that there’s good music and bad music. There’s a difference between a good singer and a good entertainer, and if you deny that then you’re downright lousy. If you're a singer, you should be able to sing well. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe nearly all singers work hard and give it their all, but who can really sing / make music without needing all the embellishments? The list is in no particular order--- but I doubt any of you will read this part. Clazziquai This group is phenomenal! If you disagree, you must be a crazed little fan with teeny-bopper idol posters plastered on your bedroom walls, and with no sense of musical taste whatsoever. I actually can recommend them to non-Korean people and not be ashamed! They are vocally talented and showcase that in the songs that they put out; what’s more is that Alex is so freaking hot! Hwanhee Awesome vocals. Just cut out some of those strange, exaggerated moans in between lyrics and the song just sounds cleaner. But, he has an amazing voice overall--and the plastic upgrades look good. SG Wannabe Once you get over the lame name (Simon Garfunkel Wannabe), you realize how good these guys actually sound. Sure, they do have their pitfalls during the bridge and pseudo-rap parts but they’re on the right pitch. Good thing Kim Jin Ho’s face isn’t so visible on the cover: smart move. Epik High Not traditional. At least, not in the sense of content. Their songs can be graphic, but they’re real. Not afraid to make crazy music videos, fully knowing that they’ll be banned. I can’t say too much about their more recent pop-py beats but their other stuff is worth a listen; pay attention to the lyrics, not just the melody (they actually have a message). Honorable Mentions: Junsu (TVXQ), Jaejoong (TVXQ), Shin Hyesung (Shinhwa), Noeull-disbanded Before you start complaining about why so and so isn’t on the list, let me explain to you that some of the crap being put out lately is downright embarrassing and/or nothing but American knock-offs; from the skimpy outfits and dance moves to the publicity stunts. It’s been said and done numerous times here. If you’re wondering why there aren’t any female groups/singers on the list it’s because I can’t think of any right now. Now go ahead and have a field day since this is my list and it’s not going to change anytime soon.
