Number one on music sites for 8 weeks straight, $15,000 from performances, and more than a million dollars worth of CFs; the "Tell Me Syndrome" does not know when to stop. I'm sure a lot of people are tired of hearing about the Wonder Girls and "Tell Me," but this "epidemic" if you will, is bringing lots and lots of money back to their contracting parties. The sales the 'Wonder Girls' have generated are close to $5 million. It's hard to find any other rookies that can get this much success in just nine months after their official debut. A big part of this success is from people using their song "Tell Me" on their mini-homepages and blogs as the background music. "Cyworld's Digital Music Charts" also gave their song the award for song of the month. After having the song available online for different uses in September, online sales alone, has brought in approximately $2-3 million. One music site announced that, "The Wonder Girls have broken the jinx of rookie singers breaking sales in the music industry. We are expecting sales to go up another $500,000." Along with their endless popularity online, the girls have been getting called in to appear on game shows; they receive about 30 calls from tv networks daily. The amount of money they brought in for appearing on game shows was about $5,000, but it recently jumped to around $10,000-15,000. The Wonder Girls have also been bringing in endless cash flow by modeling for clothes, food and anything else marketing strategists could basically think of. They have also been pushed into an overflow of CF's, which adds about another $1 million to an already abundant bank account. The Wonder Girls have been deemed "Korea's Little Sisters," and are growing stronger and mightier from the overflow of popularity and support (as well as money) from fans.
