Weki Meki releases their final single 'CoinciDestiny' MV

Weki Meki released their final digital single "CoinciDestiny" today ( June12) at 6 PM KST, ending their 7-year journey. 

Weki Meki, a group featuring IOI members Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon, garnered significant attention. Since their debut in 2017, Weki Meki has consistently released mini albums, but after their fifth mini album 'I AM ME' in 2021, the group entered a hiatus.

Now, after nearly three years, Weki Meki has returned with a new song, sadly announcing their disbandment. Their farewell song "CoinciDestiny" is a blend of 'Coincide,' meaning 'to meet,' and 'Destiny,' conveying their final farewell to fans. The hopeful melody and ethereal synth sounds, combined with the members' sweet voices, leave a profound impression.

With member Ji Su Yeon participating in the song-writing and composing, "CoinciDestiny" offers a heartfelt message from the eight members of Weki Meki to their fans.

I'm crying, I can't believe that they are going to disband, they have been my comfort group since their debut and nostalgia hit to think that that's their last song as a team, I just hope that none of the girls give up on their dream❤️❤️❤️
