ARTMS have released their first premier single "Birth", in preparation for the group's highly-anticipated debut album, 'Dall'.
"Birth" tells the story of a character whose emotional instability after a breakup and insomnia cause them to experience severe hallucinations. The single introduces listeners to the group's freakish sound and concept, as the story originally told through the music of LOONA undergoes transformation and perversion.
Meanwhile, ARTMS will continue to release a series of premier singles including "Flower Rhythm" on April 11, "Candy Crush" on April 25, and "Air" on May 10, before the full release of 'Dall' on May 31, featuring the title track "Virtual Angel".
It's the sort of innovation and creativity needed to inject new life into K-POP before it becomes too repetitive and stale. I hope others will be inspired by ARTMS's less conformist adherence to the music genre and encourage them to be bolder and more imaginative. Boundaries have to be stepped over to keep it fresh.
