Monsta X's I.M and Heize have unveiled a live clip video for their digital single "Slowly."
This release marks I.M's second solo project since moving to Sony Music, and it's also the second collaboration between him and Heize. Their first joint work was on Heize's second studio album "Undo," specifically the track "Every Street," released in 2022.
"Slowly" lyrically explores the emotional trajectory of a couple experiencing a breakup. The song resonates with listeners through its candid and calm portrayal of the thoughts and words the couple wishes to express to each other and themselves.
Both artists, known for their alluring deep vocal tones, deliver their parts as if they are monologues in a movie scene, enhancing the song's melancholic mood. Notably, both coming from a rapping background, the way they convey the mood of the track through their singing is particularly impressive, adding depth to the song's lonely sentiments.
