Billie has released the music video for their digital single album. 'January 0th (a hope song)' is a continuation of their representative hard-rock based song 'RING ma Bell', showcasing Billie's musical experimentation through the modern rock genre. 

The song is characterized by its upright piano-led traditional band set sound, featuring a mix of string orchestration and a vintage band sound. The lyrics express a wish for listeners to feel new hope when listening at the end of the year or on the first day of the new year, along with the anticipation for a new day and a desire to cherish the precious emotions within it.

Since their debut, Billie has been presenting songs with solid musicality. Their mini album released in March last year, 'the Billage of perception: chapter three', was listed in Billboard's 'The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2023'. K-POP columnist Jeff Benjamin praised the album as "evidence of a strong commitment to outstanding musical experimentation," adding, "The title track 'EUNOIA' brought Billie their first music broadcast win and set the stage for further momentum in 2024."

Jeff Benjamin also highlighted the track 'lionheart (the real me)' from the mini album as a jewel-like B-side that could stand as a lead single and praised 'nevertheless' as one of the most creative K-POP creations of 2023.
