BTS's Jungkook is getting closer to releasing his first solo album 'Golden' and continues to prepare fans.
On October 31 at midnight KST, the global K-pop artist unveiled the melodies of all the tracks for his upcoming album through a preview teaser. Jungkook's new album includes a total of 11 tracks, including "3D" (featuring Jack Harlow), "Closer to You" (featuring Major Lazer), "Seven" (explicit version; featuring Latto), "Standing Next to You," "Yes or No," "Please Don't Change" (featuring DJ Snake), "Hate You," "Somebody," "Too Sad to Dance," "Shot Glass of Tears", and "Seven" (clean version; featuring Latto).
Jungkook will release 'Golden' on November 3 at 1 PM KST. So check out the preview above until then!
Well, this confirms what was apparent from the credited list of songwriters: every track is in English! It's such a deliberate and interesting choice. I suppose he's had a full career of singing predominantly Korean tracks already, so if he enjoys singing English, this solo album is the perfect opportunity to explore that desire. This hiatus really is proving just how many different styles of side projects all of the BTS members have been interested in trying! I look forward to hearing the full album -- most likely there will be a few absolute gems on it, knowing Jungkook's knack for pop vocals.
