On October 11, iconic girl group 2NE1's music video for "Lonely," one of the lead singles off of their second mini-album '2NE1,' officially hit 100 million views on YouTube. This marks their 4th music video to reach the milestone following "I Am The Best", "Lollipop", and "Come Back Home".
Released on May 11, 2011, the music video for "Lonely" surpassed the 100 million view mark 12 years and 4 months later.
Congratulations to 2NE1!
Its amazing the energy people put in to go into an article to make a negative comment. What's more amazing is that even though 2NE1 is no longer present in today's kpop world, they probably have had a bigger impact than a lot of groups that are no longer around. 2NE1 is still one of the groups that I get joy from listening to when I hear them play either on my playlists, other playlists, or randomly in public, or with my friends. A lot of groups have songs that haven't aged well, but I definitely have enjoyed in the past, but I feel like 2NE1 has a discography that can still mostly hold up today. However, they do have a song or two that I hear that I'd be like "daaamn that takes me back in a cringe way" (thinking of Lollipop here). "Missing You" "Ugly" "Lonely" "Do You Love me" seem timeless for me.
