EXO's D.O. sat down with singer Lee Mu Jin to delve deep into his latest mini-album, 'Expectation' and also explore his vocal possibilities with fans.
D.O. opened up the show with his live singing of the album's title track, "Somebody." He then explained deeper about the meaning of the song and shared, "The title song is named 'Somebody.'" At first, D.O. blanked out and forgot the words, but soon gathered himself again. He elaborated, "'Somebody' is a song that is about waiting for a person who'd be fit for me. It's about some kind of love. The lyrics express some kind of expectation to find a person who fits me right."
Lee Mu Jin was intrigued by the title being named "Somebody" since there would be a specific person who would fit your right. D.O. explained, "So it's 'Somebody' in a sense, it's like, 'anyone'? Is there somebody out there for me?"
During the show, Lee Mu Jin delved deeper into D.O.'s vocal range and the versatility of his voice. Lee Mu Jin praised, "The way you sing with the subtle and calm tone made me realize how emotional you are. As a person who has been watching you for a long time, it was a memorable live singing to see the other side of you." Lee Mu Jin also lauded, "There are a lot of other amazing vocalists, but I thought of you as an eye-catching vocalist from a long time ago."
