The ladies of (G)I-DLE have finally unveiled their first ever English-language song since debut, "I Do".
Inspired by 80's synth pop sounds, (G)I-DLE's "I Do" contains a bittersweet message for a love that has parted. In the MV, the five members tackle the genre of sci-fi fantasy as they transform into one sentient being with five faces, landing on earth from a mysterious comet. After meeting a special person, with whom they make precious memories together, the sentient being chooses to sacrifice itself in order to protect its special person.
(G)I-DLE's "I Do" is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide, serving as the precursor to their upcoming English-language EP 'Heat', set to drop on September 8.
This is so good and I'm someone who digs 80s music so maybe I'm biased. The synths are damn nice. The chorus sounds a lot like a song I've heard before I can't remember. But this is going on my playlist!
