The path to romance will be a rough one for the male and female lead in JTBC's brand new Sat-Sun drama series, 'King The Land'.
In the third teaser for the upcoming series, King Hotel's newest director Goo Won (played by 2PM's Junho) makes his fancy appearance in a parachute from high above the sky. On the outside, Goo Won seems like he has everything - looks, brains, riches - but there's a reason he can't get married or even go on a proper date with someone. He despises smiles and can't put an upright smile on his face no matter how hard he tries!
For Goo Won, the "smile queen" hotelier Chun Sa Rang (Girls' Generation's YoonA) is "definitely not his type". But at the end of the teaser above, Goo Won pipes up the courage to ask Chun Sa Rang to dinner... and gets flatly rejected on the spot!
The wild ride toward happiness begins when JTBC's 'King The Land' premieres next month on June 17 at 10:30 PM KST! Will you be watching?

Based on only the first teaser, I thought this would be a more serious and cheesy type of romance, with the comedy genre being less highlighted. But seeing the third teaser I'm suddenly looking forward to for this , earlier I was just going to check it out for Junho and Yoona. It's giving me Crash Course in Romance vibes, where the first half was really funny and the enemies to lovers trope was glowing. My only worry is that it's 16 episodes, romantic comedies often struggle to stay entertaining on the second halves.
