Netflix's highly-anticipated sci-fi action series by director Jo Eui Seok, 'Black Knight' has dropped its first teaser trailer.

Premiering worldwide on May 12, 'Black Knight' takes place on the Korean peninsula in a distant future, where dust and pollution has rendered many parts of the world uninhabitable without artificial oxygen. In the teaser trailer, lead actor Kim Woo Bin makes his first appearance as the legendary 'Black Knight' who goes by the code name 5-8. He is a delivery man, and his job is to deliver oxygen to its location safely while avoiding attacks by bandits.

Noticeably, the teaser trailer for 'Black Knight' introduces viewers to both a city so polluted from toxic substances that it has become a wasteland, but it also introduces glimpses of confined spaces which more closely resemble today, where people can breathe freely without the use of oxygen masks.
