Lee Dong Wook returns as Lee Yeon in first teaser for tvN's 'Tale of the Nine Tailed, 1938'

The tragic hero Lee Yeon returns in tvN's brand new Sat-Sun series, 'Tale of the Nine Tailed, 1938'!

A spin-off of the fantasy romance series 'Tale of the Nine Tailed' orinally aired in 2020, 'Tale of the Nine Tailed, 1938' brings viewers the return of the mythical deity Lee Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook), as he's one day transported into the past, landing in 1938 Kyeongseong (modern day Seoul). 

In the colonial capital, Lee Yeon encounters various mythical deities and monsters in a world swept up in terror and chaos. Viewers can watch Lee Yeon leaping into action in the series' first teaser, above. 

Also starring Kim Bum, Kim So Yeon, Ryu Kyung Soo, and more, 'Tale of the Nine Tailed, 1938' premieres later this spring on May 6 at 9:20 PM KST!

There's a lot of Korean actors around with ageless, vampire-like features but not like Dong wook. I swear this man just simply stopped aging.
