The styling, visuals and vocals, plus story telling were on point.
However, I personally don't think that given the gp taste currently the song will rank high on the charts.
This is giving a more edgy concept vibes think DreamCatcher in their early days. Even with a solid base and delivery they did not garner a lot of general gp attention. Just think of how DC had to struggle and grind to get where they are now.
This has a lot of potential to become a cult classic. But being a cult classic does not mean wide spread fame. Plus honestly, something feels like it is missing both in the song and MV, and I can't place my finger on it. Like there is a build up that does not pay off or there is no killing/captivating part, which I'm still waiting for.
That being said, if they do promotion right for this including pushing on tiktok and etc. this has some potential to be that catchy creepy vibe song playing in everyone's background. Just because it does not have a solid killing part, does not mean that it can't be that easy to follow along horror styled song.
But again right now the success depends on RBW marketing and the gps reaction. That being said I do wish the girls well and for them to receive a lot of love and even their first win this comeback.
I really wish that RBW gives the girls a different concept, as the current witchy trilogy is over. I think they do quirky and fun the best e.g. Nerdy, Zombie - quirky and fun, with a lot of colour and energy with a bit of horror in the mix that makes them jump out the most given their most resent releases.
