NewJeans showed off their adorable chemistry in a recent interview with 'ELLE KOREA.'

As part of 'ELLE KOREA's ongoing '...as Emojis' series, the members were asked to pick different emojis to creatively answer a number of questions.

During one portion of the interview, they each had to choose an emoji they felt best expressed NewJeans as a whole. Minji chose a heart on fire, saying, "Among the NewJeans members, we're loving passionately. So with our fans, we keep our relationship passionate." 

Next, Danielle chose the smiling face with sunglasses, laughing as she asks "Doesn't it look like us?" to the other members. She then mentioned that the emoji is reminiscent of the fun and casual way that the members play and hang out. She also liked the outdoor vibe of the emoji itself.

Hyein picked the jewel emoji, saying, "Because each and every one of the members is like a jewel and precious."

Next member Haerin selected the avocado emoji, comparing her love for NewJeans to her love for avocados. In response, the 'ELLE KOREA' staff playfully asked Haerin to choose between the other NewJeans members and avocados, to which she quickly answered, "The members, of course!"

Finally, Hanni chose a seal emoji. "It's my favorite emoticon. Its posture seems very natural. [...] And our team's strength is being natural, so I picked this," she explained.

Meanwhile, NewJeans promoted Chanel Beauty products in the current issue of 'Super ELLE,' their first ever magazine photoshoot since debut.
