LE SSERAFIM has officially made their debut!
On May 2 KST, Source Music x HYBE's brand new girl group released their 1st mini album 'FEARLESS,' featuring a title track of the same name.
"FEARLESS" is a funk-based alternative pop song combining bold bass riffs and a deep groove. The force of its sound is combined with a powerful message, containing lyrics about moving on without being shaken up or deterred by your past. Production of the song was led by Bang Si Hyuk, with the rest of the song credits rounded out by production team 13, singer-songwriter BLVSH (BTS's "Life Goes On"), and U.S. pop artist Destiny Rogers. In the music video for the single, the members impress not only with their strong visuals but unique choreography, ready to make an impression with K-pop fans.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM consists of six members: previous IZ*ONE members Sakura and Kim Chaewon, former 'Produce 48' contestant Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Kim Ga Ram, and Hong Eun Chae.

So far from all the rookie girl groups debuted this year/similar timeframe, IVE still has my favorite debut song. Eleven is just a pure relentless bop. And the 2nd would be this. It's much much more simple in structure than I thought it would be considering the insane amount of hype and pressure you put on these poor girls but it was still an enjoyable, solid albeit safe entry into their musical journey. I would have rated this song much more harshly but even a song that one could typically consider boring is much more safer for my ears than having to listen to NMIXX's debut song (God bless those talented girls, fuck JYP for giving them the worst title track of any K-Pop group in history)
