BLACKPINK have racked up another massive achievement on YouTube!

On January 25 at approximately 6:39 p.m. KST, the girl group's music video for their second Korean-language EP's lead single "Kill This Love" officially surpassed over 1.5 billion views on YouTube, doing so in 2 years and 9 months after its release on April 5, 2019.

With this, "Kill This Love" marks the group's second music video to hit the milestone joining "DDU-DU DDU-DU".

BLACKPINK now hold the record as the first and only K-Pop act to have at least two music videos surpassing 1.5 billion views in YouTube's history.

Congratulations, BLACKPINK!

Let me say first that I am a blink and I love blackpink. BUT. They have that many views because their fans hang on to what they have.
I’m not saying that they aren’t popular and they don’t get views. I just think that if they had more comebacks and music videos, the views would be spread out more.

It honestly grinds my gears when they post on blackpink’s Instagram “kill this love hit 1billion views!”

Well DUH! Music videos from 2 years ago is all we have to hold on to!
