Mnet's rap survival program 'Show Me The Money 10' hinted at a powerful season return.
On September 18 KST, Mnet released the 1st teaser video for their upcoming program 'Show Me The Money 10'. In the video, the concept of 'The Original' gave viewers a glimpse of the show's spicy return. First, the producers were heard saying, "I think it's a very cliché style", "This is a rap that just becomes trash", "I can't feel any charm", and more critical comments. In contrast, the producers were also heard saying, "This is crazy", "[He] can become the protagonist of 'Show Me The Money 10' for real", "I think he will become a star", and more compliments. This heightened viewers' curiosity on which contestants were being complimented, and which contestants were being criticized.
Near the end of the teaser, it showed rapper Yumdda, a judge on the program, looking down as he fought his tears. Producer Gray stated, "This is a drama I couldn't dare to get involved in", and rapper Song Min Ho (Mino) said, "I couldn't say a word". This hinted at the appearance of rapper Z.flat, who is known to be the son of the late actress Choi Jin Sil. Rapper Z.flat and his younger sister are well-known in South Korea to have endured a difficult time after both of their parents took their own lives. By only showing the judges' reactions, viewers were left hanging without being able to see exactly what the heavy atmosphere was about.
Meanwhile, 'Show Me The Money 10' will air its first episode on October 1, at 11PM KST.
You can’t leave out that MNET made Mino judge Basick. To those who have no clue, Mino and basick were the 2 finalists of SMTM4 and basick went on to win the season, but now Mino is a producer while Basick is back as a contestant
