On September 14, JTBC's healing variety program 'Sea of Hope' came to a close with the cast and crew's final evening at the seaside bar.
For this final evening, SHINee's Onew prepared a special duet performance with his fellow cast member, Lee Dong Wook. Early on during 'Sea of Hope', Lee Dong Wook confessed to Onew that he was in fact a SHINee World!
For his final performance, Onew revealed to the audience, "Lee Dong Wook told me that he wanted me to sing this song at all costs. So I asked him to sing it with me."
Lee Dong Wook, who was then called up to the stage, said, "I am a SHINee World. I told Onew that I loved this song, and I wanted him to sing it here. But then he suddenly went, 'How about you sing the chorus?' and then it turned into, 'How about you also sing this part?'. So now I am here."
Lee Dong Wook, who couldn't hide his nerves as he sat in front of the audience, relied on Onew to lead him as the two stars launched into a duet version of SHINee's "Encore".
In addition to his duet of "Encore" with Lee Dong Wook on this day, Onew also partnered up with 10cm's Kwon Jung Yeol to sing a fun, remix version of "Dream Girl". You can check out both performances from the final episode of 'Sea of Hope', above and below!
Lee Dong Wook's eyes are so expressive.... and Onew's voice, it's like fine wine!
