CL revealed American artist Beyonce gave her comfort during tough times.
On the August 28th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', CL featured as a guest and talked about her experience overseas, saying, "I speak French, Japanese, Korean, and English, but I don't speak any two languages very well."
The former 2NE1 member also drew attention by opening up about her friendships with Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Kanye West. She expressed, "When Beyonce unni launched her brand, I was invited as a model. At the time, I was going through the hardest time, but when she invited me, I was really comforted. I felt even more comfort talking about the small things. It made me think that I wanted to be someone like her."
When asked what she does when meeting famous people, CL says, "I think people are all the same. They all hang out freely. We actually don't talk about music that much."
