Taeyeon revealed she thought music wasn't her path in her interview with 'MMTG'.
On the latest episode of 'MMTG', Taeyeon discussed her high notes in her solo song "I" saying, "It was really high. It was supposed to be lower, but I felt that I should do something big so I just went for it." As for her song "U R", the Girls' Generation member expressed, "I thought my organs would pop out during recording."
She also recalled winning the digital grand prize award for "Spark" at the '2020 Seoul Music Awards', saying, "I really didn't expect it, so my acceptance speech was really clumsy. The members went crazy in the group KakaoTalk chatroom." Taeyeon then opened up about how she doesn't seem to have a good feel for hits, explaining that when she doesn't like a song it does unexpectedly well on music charts.
Taeyeon said, "I didn't really like my song 'Four Seasons'. I didn't know how to make the melody work, and it wasn't my vibe. At the time, I wondered what to do," adding, "There are so many talented people, and I thought music wasn't for me. I have a lot of life left to live, and there could be other talents I have. I was having those thoughts and accepted the lyrics that way, so I combined music with life."

To be honest I cant imagine K-pop with Her or Girls Generation- theyre just too legendary and gave too much to K-pop- Im so glad she still chose this path
Plus omg she is true talent not much people can sing those high notes effortlessly perfect like she does
