Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999' has introduced the show's Japanese trainees.
After unveiling the Korean and Chinese' trainees' performances, 'Girls Planet 999' are revealing their final set of competitors from Japan, including Sakamoto Mashiro (Former JYP Entertainment trainee), Sakurai Miu (Nizi Project), Ito Miyu, Kawaguchi Yurina (X21), Kubo Raina (Prizmmy☆), and Hirokawa Mao a.k.a Cherry Bullet's May. In the clip, the 33 Japanese trainees perform the theme song "O.O.O (Over&Over&Over)".
As previously reported, the Mnet show will follow Korean, Chinese, and Japanese contestants who have the goal of debuting in an idol group.

I'm pretty certain the core of this group is already decided and you'll probably get an inkling of who is in it just from seeing who gets a backstory or is roomed together or gets extra coverage on the show. Those 'competitors' are being sold on a dream. They don't yet realise they are extras and the core group is pretty much decided. I'm curious to see how the show rates.
