With actor Kim Ji Suk's guest appearance on the June 4th broadcast of MBC variety show 'I Live Alone', viewership ratings quickly rose.

Known as the 'romantic comedy drama king', actor Kim Ji Suk showed viewers his daily life, as a single man living alone. On this day, 'I Live Alone' averaged at a viewership rating of 8.3% for the first section of the show and 10.1% for its second section, becoming the #1 most watched broadcasted show for that airing time. Further, the 'best 1 minute' of the entire episode was during Kim Ji Suk's conversations with his friends about life, while drinking, and this moment peaked at 11%. 

Kim Ji Suk is widely acknowledged for his 'sexy brain', as he is a regular member on the problem-solving show 'Problematic Men', where most of the cast members have an IQ of over 140. However, Kim Ji Suk garnered attention from viewers for showing a very contrasting side to his well-known image. For example, when his laundry drying machine did not work properly due to a loose cord, Kim Ji Suk drew laughter by using one of his toes to press on the cord to solve the issue. 

He also invited his fellow 'Problematic Men' cast members actor Ha Suk Jin and singer Lee Jang Won to his house. While enjoying a meal and some alcohol together, Kim Ji Suk drew eyes by stating that despite their current age and not having 'enough time', he wants to disregard the pressures of marriage and merely fall in love. He stated, "I want to love. I don't mean marriage. I don't want to place myself in the system of marriage." Kim Ji Suk also expressed his open mind towards meeting his partner through a blind date.
