YouTube Originals is dropping a docuseries on what it means to be K-Pop and the origins of K-Pop. The docuseries plans to take a deeper look into the globally booming industry of K-pop to see how it rose to worldwide prominence.
YouTube wrote, "What is K-Pop? How did it rise to worldwide prominence? This new 7-part series tells you everything you need to know – from its history to its hitmakers, its fandoms, and more – told from the perspective of those who were there. K-Pop Evolution is the definitive accounting of a global phenomenon."
This seven-part docuseries produced by Banger Films will show viewers everything they need starting from the history of K-pop to the hitmakers, the fandoms, and more. It will also include various interviews with the individuals who were part of the K-Pop evolution with appearances from SuperM, H.O.T., BoA, Super Junior, KARA, Ha:tfelt or Ye Eun from Wonder Girls, Kang Daniel, Dara from 2NE1, Red Velvet, EXO, NCT, (G)I-DLE, and PENTAGON.
The first episode will premiere via YouTube Premium on March 31st.
